What is CES Northwest?

CES Northwest logoCES Northwest is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to improving schools. It includes a regional center of the Coalition of Essential Schools, the Small Schools Project and a National School Reform Faculty Center of Activity. This regional center of CES provides support for all schools in Washington and Oregon on implementing the Common Principles of CES. Activities to support schools include:


What is CES?

The Coalition of Essential Schools (CES) is a network of schools and centers engaged in redesigning schools to raise student achievement. To learn more about CESNW, vist our about CESNW page. What is SSP?

The Small Schools Project, part of the CES Northwest Center, provides support and assistance to high schools and districts committed to high school redesign and graduating all students college- and work-ready. What is NSRF?

Our Center of Activity is affiliated with the national work of the National School Reform Faculty (NSRF) in creating collaborative school cultures focused on equity and excellence. This collaboration is developed in Critical Friends Groups (CFGs), which are diverse groups of 8 to 12 teachers who meet monthly to share and tune their teaching practices. What is the Service Learning Network?
